Title: Need help determining age of SJ

I'm trying to determine age of this SJ I'm cleaning up. It has the tabs inside the lower bowl that hold cooking grate instead of grate riding on lip. I searched site because I thought someone referenced the tabs once but can't find. Thanks.

Is there any marking on the vent?

No stamp. 3 daisy wheel lower bowl.

The grate support tabs changed to a ridge in the bowl in 1981. If yours has the grate support tabs then it's 1980 or earlier.

That style handle likely started in 1975 so yours looks like somewhere in the 75-78 timeframe.

With this one having the full (normal) wood handle, I'd put this one in the 1977-78 range. I have one just like this one but the handle is the smaller offset size on the normal strap. Bowl also has large bowl tabs. I determine mine as a 1975-76.

Here is a pic of the one I have from the 1977 catalog. This picture was likely taken in 1976.
