Anyone know what works or if there's any aftermarket options for a hanging rack since the weber has been discontinued? I saw some pictures that didn't appear to be weber...

If they are really hard to get, you can still buy them in Europe.
Over here in Austria they were just introduced in 2016 (for the 18") and are still available.

I know of a store that has a few of these Weber hanging kits still on their shelves. These hanging racks are still out there. You just have to know where to look.

Check the hanging rack by gateway smokers. It's much sturdier and the same price. I have the 18" and it fits perfect. I'm gonna be firing it up today and cooking 6 slabs of BB's for a party.
