Why is it tilted? Would it not work in a fireplace if at a normal angle? Does anyone have a picture of one in use in a fireplace?

Very cool. It's really amazing to see these very obscure unique items/concepts Weber has introduced over the years. I really wish they would rekindle the creative department that gave birth to these kinds of cool things again.

I'm thinking because of the closed opening of a fireplace it is easier to access the grate if it is angled. You wouldn't see the food on it if it wasn't angled. @harris92 correct me if I am wrong.

Correct. The bowl has three hooks (one on each side and one in the rear). The bowl hooks to the base at this angle
