Title: Small rust spots
Post by: joewhodatt on June 29, 2017, 06:23:06 PM
I am looking for  advice.   I have some small rust spots showing up in my stainless steel.  Anybody have any ideas to remove these small spots.   Thanks for help

@joewhodatt

Joe.....which stainless?

Is it an SS table on an older Performer, or.....?

I might not be the best for this answer, but I know a few who likely are....

@pbe gummi bear   is one....

Here's some other ideas:

Bar keepers friend works wonders on stainless. No need to use strong abrasives if it's just surface rust.

The spots are hard to spot but I don't want them to get worst.   It is SS table for my Weber summit charcoal.  I should use bar keepers   ?

If I spent $2000 on a Weber Summit Charcoal grill and the stainless was rusting, I would be calling Weber.
