I use this cart every single time I fire up one of my kettles. I store my smoke wood in there, as well as a few accessories. So far, I have only used the burner for deep frying fish, for fish tacos. I picked this up for less than $20 a couple days before joining this group.
Several years before that, I picked up a similar one NIB (although outer box was in bad shape), but with individual metal legs that had looped feet with a metal triangle that goes through the looped feet. Also, less than $20.
On Friday, I picked up 3 grill covers that were customer returns. Paid $1 each. They are for gassers, but I'll use them as cheap covers for charcoal grills.
A month or two ago, I picked up a NIB Weber premium cover for an 18" for $5. I asked the guy if he was also getting rid of a grill. He laughed & said he was selling it because he originally bought it from a co-worker, but never wound up buying the grill.

Now that's funny stuff.
I figured it didn't hurt to ask if he also had a grill he was getting rid of. But, I was kind of surprised he bought the cover while indicating he didn't have a grill that he was going to use it on. Was hoping I'd luck into something REALLY sweet.
I picked this one up a bit over a year ago.
It came with the charcoal & lighter fluid pictured & I saved this pic from the listing.
There is a chip on the other side (don't remember if it is lid or bowl).
It was listed for $25 & I offered $20 over the phone.
When I got there, I noticed the charcoal grate was missing & got it for only $10. (Had no idea of rarity at time as I'd just joined here).
Soon after, I bought a black SJ for $1 at a garage sale that provided the donor grate.

Got a NIB Amstel Light logo Smokey Joe for $10 at a company Christmas sale a few years back. Can't find the damn picture tho...
Hi, I also just found a NIB SJ with an Amstel Light logo on it. Also for $10. Is there any way to find out how many were made? I'm new to this.

I've never paid more than $20 for a kettle. Every grill in the pic was $20 or less (and it probably shows), upper row left to right $10, $15, $$7.50, $20. Lower from left to right $10, $7, $0. Just sold the free one on the lower right for $33 tonight. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190501/824203fe7ff2e667c6bfb798f91b1962.jpg)

I got these three kettles and the jumbo Joe all for 60. Talked him down from 100.
My first weber was free, when the in-laws saw me looking at it. They even delivered it. And I bought a pretty decent black ots the other day for 5 bucks at a garage sale(talked down from 10) lol
Just scraped thru for $20

This plus 70# of charcoal.....$5
Idk what page I was on... Nevermind lol. I did get a blue one touch plus, a Smokey Joe and some old charcoal baskets all for 35 the other day. So if you break that up they were all under 20.

I grabbed this thing for $20 in hopes of doing something with it. I believe it's an older Summit. I had it for a very long time, before I finally got to work on it...
This is what I ended up doing with it.

I used some redwood fencing material I got at Home Depot. It is approx. 3/8" thick and was just a bit longer than what I needed. It was very affordable and already had a super smooth, finished surface. Easy to work with too.
