I got my new kettle from Lowes a couple weeks ago after somewhat of a hassle. Got it set up and have cooked on it about 8 times. I noticed last night a little rust spot. Call Weber this morning and my new lid is on the way. Fantastic! There was no hesitation and no questions asked. That's customer service. In the center of the picture? Are you sure that's rust? Looks more like Windex residue or some such thing.

That's rust and what looks like tiny cracks. That's the picture I sent them. No windex
