Title: Rotisserie Basket or Accessories
Post by: clarissa on May 12, 2017, 03:41:27 PM
Wondering of anyone can recommend accessories for my new Weber spit. What about baskets?  Also, where do I find out what the size of the metal rod is. I guess that is considered square because it has 4 sides?

I would suggest One Grill for all rotisserie products. You can find them here: https://www.onegrill.com

To determine your spit rod size, just measure the width of the square part. It is most likely 5/16 or 3/8" in size.

Thank you @OldDave. I see they are not very expensive. But is it worth getting one?  Figured it would be good for pieces of meat that can't be spindled.  Maybe that's not such a good idea?

Baskets are great. I pack one like this with hot dogs or drumsticks for the grandkids.http://www.onegrill.com/Grill_Rotisserie_Spit_Rod_Flat_Basket_p/4pb20.htm

Baskets are nice, cradles are too, so are keb-bab'os and Rib-O-Lators-whew! And don't forget the Octo-Forks!

Go nutz!

Wings in a roti basket are awesome, chuck roast is too, or country style ribs.
