It needs new igniter, crossover burners, and flavorizer bars but that looks like it.
Any sources for just the crossover burners?
The guys dad had given it to him but he didn't have natural gas at his house.
It started at $500 on craigslist and finally got to a price I had to say yes to!
I got my crossovers from Weber when I did mine
Flavorizers are available from bbq grill parts or whatever its called
and I had to replace all 3 electrodes on mine
The one I had had a lot of corrosion rust in the floor of the cart
also these are notorious for corrosion on the front panel of the cook box which is Steel. Mine wasn't bad so I treated it and painted it it will outlast what use it sees for sure. Its a whole lotta grill but sometimes you just cant replace real estate. I gave mine to may parents as I just couldn't justify that and a new genesis on the patio. honestly if I had thought of it before I ordered parts I would have used mine for my pellet conversion I want to do
I have a couple new ignitors I'll let go cheap. Let me know if you are interested.
Peaspurple- I know I should have waited to order anything until I checked here!
Sorry to say The igniters and crossovers are on the way.
Front of the box looks to be in good shape with just a few small rust spots. Will brush them down and hit them with some high temp paint. The bottom of the cabinet is rusty. I may have a welder buddy make me something more substantial if I like the grill when it's up and running.
