Title: First try at Kebob Koobideh
Post by: varekai on April 12, 2017, 09:56:21 PM
While going through the posts last week I came across @JEBIV 's post about his pittsburgh rare. In it someone asked about the Koobideh, curious, I googled it... sounded interesting and I'm trying to broaden my palate... and I like getting new stuff,  Went to good ol Amazon, found some 1" wide skewers, ordered. Last night I grated the onions, NEXT time i'll use a food processor, LOL... This morning before work I put all the ingredients together to let sit as per the recipe. Came home, put the meat on the skewers, NOT as easy as they make it look on youtube, and fired up!! I still need to practice getting it on the skewer, but DAMN it tasted good!!  DEFINITELY doing again, I mean ya gotta practice right, might as well get to eat too!  Thanks to ALL you guys, and girls, who post your cooks and recipes, This is one of the things I love about this forum...  heres the first go round...

@1buckie , My GF and I were thinking they would make awesome burgers as well.. the flavor profile is incredible for being so simple.
