Title: First Wings
Post by: Neil_VT00 on April 08, 2017, 03:32:14 PM
This was a cook that was definitely inspired by this place. Lazy day around the house so I decided to prep some wings earlier today. I used the following recipe that I saw mention of in another wing thread:

Left had BBQ sauce, middle had Old Bay in melted butter, and a little hot sauce on the right. They came out amazing. I'll definitely be making more of these!

Wings are always fun to cook and so good.  Like the idea of using old bay seasoning.

I did wings salted om kettle..indirect for 45 mins..brushed with oil halfway thru...then basted with hot pepper paste based sauce for 5 mins....

Only a few leftover after dinner...big pile of bones on plates

Hah, yeah. That's what happens when you have hungry toddlers to feed.

Wings are my favorite thing to make on my OTG! Just ask Stavlund!
