.....I've decided to try this gambit:
Forum member 1buckie has offered me his email address so I could send him my pictures as email attachments!
Then he can post MY pictures on the Forum as though they were HIS!
I won't expect him to do this on a regular basis; just this once, so you'll be able to meet me and my BBQ Grills.

Another example of
@1buckie going over the top to help a member out.
Yes, he's certainly going out of his way to help this elderly, confused man!

That was very nice of you to post these
@1buckie .......now on to the rest of the story.
Thanks Ken for helping out!
Yes, 1buckie...that was a real treat on your part!
When I got my driver license on my 16th birthday on July 11, 1952, gasoline really WAS $.20 per gallon, and my Dad told me that when he was a young driver in 1929, it was $.12 a gallon!
My first car was a used 1934 Plymouth Six, which cost me $35, plus $1 for a used muffler, which included welding it on!
At that point, I had $36 invested in the car, which ran just fine! It even had the "free-wheeling" option!
Cheers,

Great, thanks
@mrgoodbar67 next post from Hal in Website Issues and Suggestions is HiDesertHal asking for help with downloading apps on his rotary phone.
:) Just kidding but not really.......
What's an "App"? Is that short for "Application"?
Where do you get these things...are they Hardware or Software?
Are they installed on my PC's motherboard?
How much do they cost?
I'm not joking...I really DON'T know what an App is!
Thanks,
Hal Pollner

My first car was a 79 trans am, white with a blue bird. Gas was $1.10 a gallon. Got my license on July, 6 1986.

That old Mc Donalds store still exists?
Bertl
It's the original in Des Plaines Illinois, it's a landmark, they built another McDonald's across the street. So you can't get food from it but it's there and you can look at it......

See, it was worth it.
#lowfives all around
Around 1954-1955 we had a neighborhood burger joint called "Ken's Hamburgers".
The burgers were 9 cents each.
