Nice looking 26". Congrats. I got mine a week ago and I have cooked on it twice. Love the extra space. Ran a snake and three slabs of ribs Sunday in it. The vent thermo was stuck at 260° vents wide open. Best of luck on your brisket.

Yeah Weber kept the straight edge twist pan for the 26er during the early-mid 80s. I LOVE that this one is still a daisy wheeler. Sweet score!

Additional notes, I found that when I looked closer at the bowl vents, it has C code stamped into it whereas the lid has E on it..... replacement lid maybe?? @craig

I use heat beads briquettes, it's our local one and works extremely well, it took 12 hrs to get the pit past 250f.
In the end it was a 2x2 snake with all vents open.
The snake lasted over 24hrs.
