So we live with my best friend and his wife at least until April 6th when we close on our house. He was moving the ivory to the other side of the garage, when he picked it up the lid fell off.
Honest mistake, Weber sold me a replacement for $80.73 shipped.

So Weber sold you a Canadian MT lid in America, very interesting. Somebody please educate me on Webers warranty rules on over the border grills that come back home.

Interesting point. I'm willing to bet they will only sell you parts to the colored grills if you have an already registered one.

I pulled it out this afternoon to grill up some steak and I noticed this as well... That should be warranty though

Are you sure your friend didn't tip the whole grill over? Landing on the bale might cause something like that.

@weldboy - call CS quick and ask them to make sure to send out a matching set. I had a warranty Spring Green sent that did not quite match. By the way, the bowl should be covered under warranty. More than likely they will send you a free bowl.

Weber is covering the bowl! The guy I spoke to said it should be a matching set
