Title: Bought a Kingsford grill to get a Weber cover
Post by: charred on March 01, 2017, 01:28:46 PM
Not too bad of a grill.

Hinged lid, warming grate, condiment rack, ash bucket. But it's chintzy of course.

But this is what I was after:

$10. Good deal.

You could get a brand new Weber cover for not much more money.  :)  Actually a good deal!  Keep the cover and sell the kettle for $15.  :)

Worth it! I'd probably just leave that grill on the curb.

Kinda had to take the grill cuz the guy was moving. I think I used one a couple of years ago on vacation. Worked fine. Nowhere near Weber quality of course. The only ones to come close in terms of material that i know of are the Happy Cooker and the Stok.

If nothing else it's a staging table and a place to light another chimney. Nice cover.

You do realize that steel can be melted down and used to make a Weber.   Nice cover.
