@jeff1143  - welcome to the Club!  Very nice pickup! What color is that? It looks like a brownie, or copper?  I don't believe I've seen an SSP in that color....

Looks more brown than copper to me. Not sure of the colors offered. Has a N code on vent.

Hello and welcome! Nice first post.

Ok! Nice oddball SSP.  The Copper or Brown was never offered in gen1 SSP nor gen2 performers. Have a look at the brackets. If they look spot welded factory look and have N code on the lid vent.... you may have a one -off SSP from the factory.  If the brackets are bolted to the bowl.... someone dropped in this copper from other kettle into this SSP frame. Either way, it looks great.

Welcome to the site! That's a brownie all right. You don't see many brown performers. 1991 is the last year for that color. Now that I know there IS a brown Non gas assist SS out there, id love to find one in this color. Awesome grill! 8)

Dang I was hoping I had the only one! I have wanted to get a performer to add to my collection of grills and smokers. This one was in the local paper adds for a few weeks and called the guy yesterday and he still had it.

Missing thermometer in handle.

First one I've seen.  Really looks nice. You can order a replacement thermometer from Weber (part#62538) or grillparts.com has them for $9.95.
