Title: Another Wing Cook
Post by: Geezer on February 12, 2017, 08:21:53 AM
Decided to do a small batch of Vortex wings.  In thirds, I used Weber Kickin' Chikin, Weber Garlic & Herb, and Rufus Teague Meat Rub.  Added a chunk of apple for a little smokey flavor.

One hour later, they were done to a crispy goodness.  The ones with the Rufus Teague were by far the best, in my opinion.  But they were all very good.  It had been a while since i cooked wings and I had forgotten how good they are.

My buddy in Texas had sent me some of this sauce and I decided to try it.  It's pretty good stuff.

Those wings look good, and thanks for the seasoning comparison. We really like the Rufus Teague Touch of Heat and " " " " honey sauces as well.

Update:  The Weber Garlic & Herb went into the trash.  Yesterday, the wife ate some of them and she said they didn't agree with her, she kept burping them the rest of the day.   Today, I took the leftovers to work for lunch and I'm still tasting them.  Something in there didn't settle well with us.
