Got this today. Lid is a little banged up on one side. Top vent is a little loose too but everything else seems to be inn working order. Think it's probably the original propane tank and still has gas in it. Not sure what that one basket on top is for.

Scored the very same rig for my brother, a while back. He decked it out with a bunch of Brian's oak. Very nice cooker.
Looks like it came with some nice stuff as well!!! Congrats

Nice score! Craycort CI Grate, modified CI Vegetable Wok Insert to burn wood it looks like, and Smokenator. Little clean up should be good as new.
I never thought of a vegetable wok. It's cast iron. The accessories are nice. Made it worth out what I paid. Now i can finally get one all clean while I use the other.

Now on to researching how to restore this cast iron.

I think it's crimson technically so I don't think it counts as a redhead, or does it?

I don't do everything he mentions and have changed from using a wire brush since joining here, but it's a good start to caring for any CI grates.

@travis, what kind of brush do you use?

Honestly, I use aluminum foil. I used to use a steel wire brush, but after getting tips from here, I learned I was actually eliminating the seasoning I was trying to achieve. I've been using aluminum foil for a little less than a year and it works much better and have built up a nice season. Other option was a brass bristle brush. I believe that had good reviews from members as well.
Thankyou to whoever helped me with that information, btw. You were correct.

great score man
Wow, with the the grates that's a great score!
My guess is somebody didn't know what they had when they let this one go
If it's an AD Code I believe it's like mine technically a Brick Red.

Was that the one from 5miles? Dang! Nice score.
Yup that's it MINIgrillin. Was hoping no one would see it. If someone on here saw it, it would probably be gone. Everyone else just didn't know how good of a deal it was.

Sanded down the CI and doing a heat clean trial run whatever. Just giving her to some love. Weird how i couldn't see much rust until this picture. Will have to do some more sanding.

Couple of dents in the lid. I guess that just adds character though.

@johncorvin- Hit those dents from the inside with a rubber mallet and they will pop right out.
