I bought a 12 lb boneless beef loin for xmas and cut them into 1 1/2 inch steaks
Grilled on my black 22 with the vortex .. never buy single steaks again..(http://[img][/img](http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h339/njb1954/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-12/C1E6A330-7CCD-4758-AD40-7C8DF4279176_zps4l9xn48q.jpg) (http://s1104.photobucket.com/user/njb1954/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-12/C1E6A330-7CCD-4758-AD40-7C8DF4279176_zps4l9xn48q.jpg.html)

Oh yeah! Those look marbled good. Bought 2 little Chuck eye steaks that looked good. Turned out as tender and tasty as any Rib-eye I've ever had.  Never had a steak in a restaurant as good as what George's kettle makes. Merry Christmas.

I like making my own steaks too out of the roast. Still buy from the store, but cutting your own is definitely better. Makes it more personal imo. Good deal.

Looks fantastic.  It's tough when you're all excited and hungry to slow down to take that finished shot, lol!
