I saw an Asian style honey garlic sauce when I picked up the sauces to make those teriyaki steaks I did a few days ago. I decided to buy that as well and see if it was closer to what I wanted than the honey garlic barbecue sauce is been using that didn't really provide the flavour I was after.
I originally planned to marinate the thighs for about eight hours and then ended up having a very, very late night after a friend attempted to perform a stunt and ended up in the hospital. The thighs ended up marinating overnight until lunchtime the next day.
Shortly before being put on the grill:

The new sauce did the trick. I was quite happy with the results.

Those look yummy for sure. Now you have me interested in making some chicken like that and using my charcoal grill instead of my pellet grill. Looks like a day this week will be chicken on the kettle
