Title: buying charcoal
Post by: EricD on November 03, 2016, 06:00:17 AM
Hey all,
I'm sure most of you here know about www.AtlantaBBQstore.com and www.thekansascitybbqstore.com and others for buying our rubs and sauces.   Does anyone know of a site that does that for charcoal?
There are so many charcoals, it would make it easy to try different things.   I've been on www.http://www.nakedwhiz.com/lumpindexpage.htm?bag, and they give 'where to buy' info, but no one superstore, if you will.
Thanks

unfortunately for Missourians royal oak bought out almost all of the independent kilns. there was a kiln operation in Reynolds mo that would GIVE you charcoal if you brought your own containers. it was excellent charcoal too. royal oak bought them & put an end to that. & speaking of which royal oak does an ok job but every bag i've bought has had a lot of trash in it.
