Title: No more bone in pork chops
Post by: Hofy on July 29, 2016, 09:54:15 AM
I went to 3 stores trying to find a good bone in pork chop today.  All they had are boneless pork chops.  I know pigs still have bones.   >:(

Ya, I prefer a good rib chop ... Can usually find them at my local Costco.

It seems the general public prefers "boneless" everything.  Not me.

Talk to the butcher.  Usually the butcher can hook you up with special cuts.

Find a local farm store and you can find things like this.  (Not pork but still...) (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160729/55a36ad335d89e60a18cd293f5695094.jpg)

Absolutely correct. If you have a local shop in your area, it's time to get to know the butcher!
