Title: Oops
Post by: Rondo on July 02, 2016, 02:31:44 PM
Just unwrapped what I thought was supposed to be a pork butt from my daughters show pig she raised this year. It's a cured ham. Never done one of those. Things huge. 10lbs.

Nice. Bone in? Weber's website has a really good and easy recipe for a ham I did for thanksgiving. It was a apricot jam glaze. Check it out if your looking around!

Oops is right, but it's a delicious oops.   Did you end up cooking it?  I still haven't done a big ham, just double smoked some boneless ham.

Wife slow cooked the ham. I had already planned pulled pork so that's what I did. First pork butt for me. I haven't done a ham either. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork. All cooked on a weber kettle. I love that thing. i will get to ham and turkey one day. Their on my list.

That's also one to do on a roti. Wish I had a pic or two.
