Title: 26" Weber Performer Modification
Post by: tb80 on June 17, 2016, 10:58:03 AM
Has anyone ever thought about taking the frame from a regular performer and using it to make a 26" performer.  I was thinking I could take the tabs off a rusted performer bowl and bolt them on to the 26" bowl.  Then get a custom made granite table top.  The only other thing would be to figure out how to attach the bottom cross supports and decide whether I want drill holes for the gas assist.  Has this been done before?
