Is anybody aware of an attachment so accessorie that provides for adjustable grate heighth?

not that I can think of off hand, as far as I know the dampers are how you control the temp in your kettle... or setting up coals banked to one side. just my .02
This is the only accessory that I'm aware of, for a 22" kettle, that will adjust the cooking grate height.

@dazzo has one, or something very similar, and really enjoys using it.
Nice, didnt even think of the santa maria style, and I live like an hour from there...
If that's the kind of adjustability you're looking for, then it works good.
