My work colleague has a 1982/83 Weber kettle gas BBQ
It has had a good 25years grilling but now the heat shield has burnt out I will have more information about this
Very soon like the model number ect
If anyone else has one or know where I can purchase the part needed
This would be a brilliant help

I'm not a kettle gasser expert but new, replacement parts won't be available for something that old. Might be able to fab or swap something else in however. A picture might help.
If it's a kettle gasser, you're probably talking about the deflector shield that allows direct and indirect cooking.
And as mentioned, there are no parts available.
Search the forums for 'kettle gasser' and you'll find lots of good info.
