Ever since ATS posted the string pie I said I'm would make it and today I made it and since I was going to bake it I decided to do some cinnamon rolls first and then put the string pie on and I will have to tell you that string pie is remarkable, thanks ATS, the only thing I did different was I added a little more mozzarella cheese.

Is that on the new cooker? Looks like a hinged lid.
@irv39 How are you liking it so far?
If you put vanilla icing (frosting) on those cinnamon buns, they become Chelsea Buns

Love it so far, started it about 11am and run it up to 350 and went in side to watch baseball and came out at 2 pm and cooked the cinnamon rolls and about 2:45 put the string pie on and took it off at 3:30 and it was still holding 350 when I shut it down. both cinnamon rolls and string pie said to cook at 350.

It had a vanilla frosting pkg. that came with it that I used but forgot to take picture.
Good skills, irv39!
Those were a frequent staple of my childhood
Looks great. How was the string pie? Can't wait to try that one also.
Sounds like they nailed the efficiency on the SCG. How much fuel did you use for that session?

That recipe is ridiculously simple, isn't it irv? I like that it's easily customizable too and yet less hassle to put together than lasagna.
