I really like it. At first blush there is a difference to me with the way it performs in the 26 vs the standard SnS. I didn't set up any monitoring equipment, so it's just anecdotal.
Bonus pic for @ramsfan! 😆

Cool. The earliest adopter. Mine doesn't get in until tomorrow.
Not that I've cooked with either size, but what is the difference?
It's sized for the 26, so you get more cooking surface in the sear mode, longer cook time and more stable temp in low n slow mode.
Very nice. Congrats!

Yeah right! You made that sign yourself.
Looks good. Wish the 22 version had the bottom.

Me too.
@ABCbarbecue has hinted that they are working on a bottom grate for the standard size.

I would stand in line for that...
I have a standard slow and sear, what is the need for a bottom grate? I don't understand it.
Some guys want to be able to move the sns around without charcoal falling out.
I like being able to shake the ash out of old coals to reuse for another cook. Easy to do with the bottom.
Also reduces the number of small pieces falling through if you're using lump.

OK, makes sense, I have expanded steel on my charcoal grate and When I put it in there I keep it in there.

It would be cool if they made one that could hook on so everyone that already owns one can update theirs.

@ramsfan that note is legit.
@LaTuFu was our first SnS XL customer. 8)
I'm pretty sure that is the plan.

We're working on it. Making it retrofittable is proving difficult.
You ruined my fun
@ABCbarbecue. I was having a good time keeping him guessing.

No problem, just take a wash tub and cut one side off and replace with a traight piece!
