Was perusing CL today in search of patio furniture for my new digs when this caught my eye. I enjoy good kitchen knives and cutting boards - this will make a great prep table for grilling. Top is end cut and thick (I think cherry, but the seller said maple). Frame and base are stainless, casters lock in place.

Now, if Weber would just make a really nice combination smoker/grill that was charcoal based, I could replace Bisbee and Wapiti with one unit :)

Ahh if only Winz! Nice score on the table!
Nice score! I got my wife a nice big, end grain maple board for xmas. Get some board oil and/or conditioner to treat it every once In a while. It will keep it in good shape. You can get it from Amazon - John Boos MYSB Mystery Butcher Block Oil, 16 ounces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00063QPYQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_FFCbxbH1H4K7K

Holy smokes, that's a sweet table. Congrats ! Mind sharing how much was asked and what you paid ? BTW, are you planning on leaving it outside? Or rolling it out when you want to use it?
I thought I was looking at the parquet flooring inside the Boston Garden! Very nice!

Thats a nice gift, I am sure she was very happy. I had an end grain walnut board built last summer. And yes, I buy block oil in large quantities : )

I was very happy with what I paid : ). I am thinking about keeping it covered outside, however, it is f"ing hot here in AZ during the summer. May have to roll it out when I am planning a big cook, and keep it indoors when not in use.

heh, it figures, you stole it ;D Congrats on the nice score.
Gorgeous!
Wow. That thing looks amazing. I've got a maple Boos board.....it looks a lot lighter than yours.
Wow.....hell yeah! Nice pick up
Wow, that is one hell of a score Winz! It looks like its been taken care of too. I would love to have one of those in my kitchen...as a barricade to keep people out of the kitchen when I am cooking!!!! LOL
Thats awesome, I saw one of the cutting boards at homegoods the other day for 100 bucks, anyone know what retail is on them?

I am by no means a wood expert, but color-wise it sure looks like the cherry version to me.
The lady I bought it from did not want to cut on it - in fact, she always put another cutting board on top of it to protect the top. ???
As for me - I can't wait to get cutting on this thing...

I've seen that cart retail for around 1200 bucks. Nice score.
Awesome pickup! I love my Boos block table in my kitchen.
Looks great, nice score on a great looking table!
I missed this thread yesterday.
That is beautiful!
Great score. Now get some mineral oil and beeswax 50:50 heat until wax melts and keep the block well treated.
