Title: [Girl Griller Series] BBQ chicken thighs
Post by: addicted-to-smoke on February 01, 2016, 06:47:10 PM
"Best evah" ... here's what happened:

- bought an 8-pk of bone-in, skin-on thighs
- marinated for about an hour and a half in this: http://addapinch.com/cooking/best-grilled-chicken-marinade-recipe/
- grilled indirect for just over an hour at 350-ish / all 8 located between two charcoal baskets
- flipped about halfway through, then began lightly saucing at the very end, flipping each side for a minute or so direct heat
- skin wasn't crispy but we don't eat skin; I just wanted to caramelize the sauce

I really enjoyed this post! Hey @statesman, check this out. Cooking is a life skill and it's super cool you and your daughter are doing it together.

Great cook and video.  Really cool you are teaching your daughter how to grill.  I hope to do the same thing with my kids when they get old enough.
