Troy
Have you ever considered WKC ballcaps? I think it would be cool. Just throwing it out there.
@Troy seems like a good idea
I like hats.
I'll try to explore some options
Thanks!
Just throwing this out here... I own a commercial embroidery company and would be happy to provide my services.

But I'll stay fitted, New Era committed. (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/l/limp+bizkit/take+a+look+around_20083649.html)
Hell yeah, I'd be down for a fitted cap. Some members have stitched the WKC patch to a cap and it looks great.

I had thought about doing that ... The patch is somewhat on the big side ... Should check again.

Hats with the WKC patches on them would be killer! I'd even love a hat or a shirt with the Aussie WKC team logo too!

@Troy @pbe gummi bear - I would love some patches and a few more stickers. Have one sticker so far that came with the Book of Burgers I think but haven't stuck it anywhere because its my only one. And actually magnets could be cool. I realize there is an out of pocket cost for getting these kinds of things made up so I think we all totally understand if it can't be done. Maybe a patches, magnets and stickers combo pack that you can do a pre-order for and not hvae created/shipped until you sell a certain number?
Sounds good, Mike. We can totally get some more schwag together if there's demand.

Did I mention my embroidery company. Yes I did. I can do all that is mentioned in this thread with no need to profit. In fact, after 23 years I'm selling my company in the next 45 days. So this is a last chance, no up charge offer. Throw it at me guys, hats, patches, banners, whatever. The time for "at cost" is now, and I'm more than willing.
Based in Indianapolis so direct shipping costs should be reasonable nationwide.

Yes sir, happy indeed. I'm free all weekend, minus a couple hours Saturday morning while I take my girls ice skating.
Feel free to call me @ 317-748-7550 to discuss possibilities. Check my website if desired, search Indiana Custom Embroidery. Com

We were looking at getting a couple of hats made for our BBQ team with this logo on a mesh style truckers hat but were told by the printer the writing was to thin and the vinyl print wouldn't last long

Your printer was right in telling you that. In a hat you have a 2-2.5 inch high area to print or embroider on. Small lettering can be 5mm tall and still work, but no smaller or it'll look horrible.

I like the Logo at the top of the page, with the flames. I'd be in for a hat and a hoodie (gets a bit chilly in New England this time of year)

I'm not sure if these hats have already been produced but something to think about-
It may be personal preference but I once made the mistake of ordering a hat similar to this which has a high profile, meaning that it poofs straight up from the visor.
It wasn't very flattering. In fact I never wore mine.
What I've asked for since was a low or mid profile trucker cap with a pro-mesh. I can give you some manufacturer model numbers if you'd like.
@Troy if you'd like, I work with a really awesome company that makes these caps, I could pass you their contact info on to you as I've given their name to dozens of people who have all loved the service and pricing they give.
Here's the wife to be modeling the caps that just came in for my site-

Would prefer a low profile hat. Not a trucker style guy.

Queensboro Shirt Company does that I believe. At one time they sent me an offer where I could set up my own store on their website. Folks could buy my stuff for what I decided to charge, and I could make money on it.
You can upload your designs to their website and they would embroider your stuff. Great quality. Check it out.

I have used them to have team hats, polos, and fleeces done in the past.
Their website is pretty cool in that you can customize logo colors based on the color of the product you want embroidered. I use different colored lettering based on the color of the item and it looks really nice, unique.
Anything ever come about?
I'm planning on launching embroidered accessories and shwag later in the spring.
Right now funds are needed for the set up. I'm done with mickey mouse companies and this time it's getting done the right way.
Sweet
