I picked up this Burnt Orange "Red" Ranger a couple months ago. It was really cool but needed some work. Well, the cart is almost finished. I still have to put on the back brace. Rust, a couple holes, weathering and wheel all handled.

Still working on the lid and bowl. When finished, I will share more pics and the cool story behind this grill
@harris92 did ya find this in fargo nd ?
@TexasOnion No, not the same one. Mine is from upstate NY. It was not advertised for sale. The one in Fargo was in better condition. This one is looking nice too....
very nice, excited to see the rest of it!
someday i will find a ranger!!
Very, very cool man. Is that orange wall wheel stock or a reinterpretation of your own design? Either way, it's really sharp, compliments the handles beautifully.
I had forgotten about this one. Glad to know you've been working on it, can't wait to see it all finished!
How beautiful
Awesome find! The Ranger is super cool and nice work on the resto so far.
@Santo The wheel is a vintage 8" white wall steel wheel from a Weber grill. I had some paint mixed to match the handle and painted the white wall.
Love hearing about extensions to the Red Line.
Awesome work
@harris92! Such a cool grill.
Did someone get the one in Fargo? I hadn't heard about it until now.
That's a lot of great work you've done there ... looking forward to hearing the "rest of the story" too. SJ
Great job so far! Very cool grill
Finished cart - turned out well. :)

That's amazing. Great job on the restore.
Just re-read the first post. How in creation did you find a pair of NOS grips? Nice restore. Looking forward to hearing the backstory.
WoW !!! An amazing find AND an even more amazing cleanUP. Thanks for saving/restoring this early beauty ... perfect addition to anyone's collection ;) SJ
Wow, that is one hell of a job! Very nicely done. What was the process for restoring the wheel?
@MikeRocksTheRed The wheel is an 8" steel wheel originally from a 1960's Weber. I just shined it up and painted the white wall to match the handles. :)
