Anyone ever try one of these?
I've see something similar but never used one. It's a cool idea.
What are the advantages over Cast Iron? 8)
Retains heat better then cast iron, won't rust
I really want one of these: http://www.bakingsteel.com/baking-steel-griddle/
The plain baking steel is $79 and can also be used as a griddle, it just doesn't have the drip ring on one side and is a little bit smaller.
I think it's along the same lines as a stone.
But then again I might just skip that and get a discada or a mojo griddle.....
I'd be too concerned about cracking I think.
