Cooked a tri tip for the first time on my kettle. It was a smooth and easy process. I used to cook them on my Big Green Egg but not any more. I'm a firm believer in the kettle. I planning to sell my egg so I can buy more kettles. Here are some pics and some meat porn.

Wow a converter the other way around, I have seen many people go the other way round stating once they got a Kamado they say the kettle collects dust.
I don't get that thinking, I use both.
I have had the egg since 2003. What it does it does well but I find it limited in options. It is a great cooker but now prefer the Weber Kettle.
I wanna find a $12 tri tip! Awesome cook!
