Title: Need some info on these
Post by: Hogsy on October 11, 2015, 10:53:49 PM
I posted this pic in 'No Explanation Necessary ' but I think it needs some explanation.
I saw the pic on a FB page the other day. Does anyone know anything about these beautiful kettles?

Obviously those are 1994 Commemorative NAFTA Weber Kettles.

Or an even more obvious answer is "I have no idea."

Those kettles were created for the Grill Academies that weber has in Canada, the US and Mexico. They travel for certain events weber holds across North America.

They were made for heads of state, ambassadors and other prominent political figures world wide.

We only get to see the ones they made for this continent.  Rumor has it all the euro versions are 26" models.

This post contains no factual information, and is intended as entertainment.

chefn58 knows what he's talking about :) Here are a few close-up's of the USA and Canada Grills from the academy. These are lookers not cookers...
