Title: Easy Friday night cook
Post by: firedude5015 on October 10, 2015, 07:30:40 AM
Ham steaks and local brews. Just a thick slab of good old ham with a bit of cherry smoke,  then reverse seared.
Super easy, super awesome. Great match with a good cold beer(http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/10/33eb19224fb3549da45443319d695292.jpg)

Never thought about grilling these.  My tradition of "ham and hockey" (with some sort of cheesy potatoes) at least once a week now that hockey season is upon us just took a great twist!!!  Thanks!

It's awesome Mike. No prep at all, they come individually vaccum packed and I just throw em on the grill. The family loves em.

Yup......those are always a big hit at my place as well. Occasionally I'll glaze one with a coating of my hot pepper jelly that I make every fall. Gives it a nice sweet bite, mixed with the saltyness of the ham slab, it is pretty damn tasty
