What guy? What ad? What am I missing?
Can't see the pic Marty? It's a guy iceclimbing with a 22" strapped to his back.
you can click this link if you can't see it. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/11892_922974444658_2046654942_n.jpg (http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/11892_922974444658_2046654942_n.jpg)
Weird. Couldn't see it at work. Must be a firewall issue with the link. I see it now, very cool! Wild love a good scan of that ad for the Flickr site.
Yeah probably a Facebook firewall. Ill tell my friend to save it so we can get it scanned.
That's extreme. What is the theory for dragging a 22.5 grill up a iceberg? Could have packed an 14.5 Smokey Joe a lot easier if he wanted to do a fire and ice thing.
It's hard to fit Reindeer steaks on the Smokey Joe though
That's hilarious! He can use that hammer to break up his lump.
I'm looking at the picture and thinking that he is on a frozen pond pretending to climb an ice wall. They've cropped most background but what's there looks like it is growing straight out of the "wall."
Maybe he was reading about a National Geographic expedition to the South Pole in 1953 and saw a original kettle in the background of a photo. A quick check on Goofle Earth shows its still there so there he is with his swapping kettle on his back.

This one's up right Away for "Post-of-the-Month" !!!!!!!!!
That's dedication! :o
Looks more like an 18" to me, but even if it's a 22-1/2" at least he doesn't have to pack condiments.....
.....they're already there ~~>

( from one of the early 1900's expeditions )
they used to pack in their grills by boat / ship, but things have gotten easier with the advent of the Weber kettle....

I thought so too. But the reflection on the grill makes him look vertical...good Photoshop work?

At that angle I'd expect to see a reflection of the photographer in the kettle.
BTW, is this an old ad? Looks like an old grill.
Geez, why a black grill? You think if you're conquering a mountain that you would take something flashy! At least its not a Charbroil!! 8)
I want to see him do that with a Ranch Kettle strapped to his back. If he was really bad ass, climb the mountain with a Weber Summit S-670 strapped to his back - with a couple of those nice accessory cabinets bolted to the sides ...and a full propane tank inside! lol
