Title: Dark Meat on Lump Charcoal wsg homemade sauce.
Post by: Andrew on July 26, 2015, 05:05:01 PM
Marinated these thighs and legs over night in Funkwerks Saison (brewery in Fort Collins) and slow cooked them at about 250°. Also made a bbq sauce with the same beer that I must say I love. Ive never made bbq sauce before, and man if there arent alot of ingredients you need to make it taste nice. Oh, and went to the local restaurant supply store and bought 40 (not a typo) pounds of mesquite lump charcoal for $14. First cook on lump charcoal. Burns hot but controllable. Cant wait to taste it.  (http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/26/bb88f70dba1aaafe43b817cc171df031.jpg)
