Title: A friend got a housewarming gift
Post by: austin87 on July 23, 2015, 09:10:00 AM
Went to have dinner at a friend's new house last night. I walk out to the backyard and see an almost cherry A code faded black MBH

He got it from his fiancĂ©'s friend's dad. Original grates, no crazing. Missing one wheel hubcap and it has a little bailing wire reinforcing the triangle at the front leg. He had the lid on the ground  :( I showed him the lid hook and said don't ever get rid of it without calling me 8)

Tell him to turn that triangle around.  Then he'll be able to lose the bailing wire!  :)

That's a beauty!

Looks nearly identical to my A code blackie .... Suggest to him some Tung oil on that handle.

Sweet..... You should tell him to use 5/16 fuel line to hold the wheel on.
