Title: Craigslist Deal
Post by: Shoestringshop on May 18, 2015, 05:26:15 PM
So was on Craigslist and was looking for some wicker furniture. I come across a person selling 2 Chairs, End Table, and a 22" Weber for $120.00. Now I know some of you are thinking "Shoestringshop your wife will kill you if you buy another grill" and you would probably be right. I contacted the seller and asked if I could just buy the wicker furniture for $70.00? I got no reply  :(. I next go to Ebay and do a local search only and find the same person trying to sell this same thing on Ebay starting bid $39.99, but also comes with a cover and 1 large chimney and a small chimney. I watched for the next day and at 7 sec left made my bid...

$40.00!!!!

I WON!!!!!

Told the wife I'll be picking up the furniture, and Grill the next day. She said you didn't just say you bought a grill also did you? No I bought the furniture I got the Grill for FREE  ::)

@Shoestringshop i have an extra bucket and catch if you want it.  it just hose clamps to the leg sockets.  $10 if you want it, but you'd have to pick it up in wheeling.

let me know, nice score on the "patio furniture".  ;)

Okay everyone I ordered the ash catcher from Weber... they ask what model number do you have, and then said we do not encourage people to modify our grills. I explained to the woman on the phone that after I buy the grill it s no longer their grill and I can do whatever I want to it... then she took my order and said it will not fit. I laughed:-)
