This is pretty cool. Gonna heat it up this weekend and see what it does.

Awesome! This seems to be the first sighting of these Alien tools in the Northern Hemisphere!
Or are these different from the ones from Oz? I don't recall them having a plug? Having a senior moment.
This one has been bouncing around the internet on the east coast.
Never knew that something like this existed, very cool!
neat! i had no idea!!
So as to demonstrate I am not going crazy:

This version does not plug in:

The plug in kind is something I have never seen, I don't think.
@harris92 Do you have any indication as to when this was made or of the time frame that they were produced?
And look, it's a compass. ;)
@G$ you are crazy!!!! Ours have plugs and were both bought in the U.S.

They have plugs?! I don't remember forgetting that part.

Can you do a short write up and send me some photos. I'd like this in the Gallery with the accessories.
Very nice.
Yes, I will provide a small write up and a few pictures this weekend. I'll take a closer look at it for a date code. It has an early 1970's look to it though.

I think that "Weber Stephen" logo was used from mid 60s to about 1977.

Yeah...I never knew that they had a plug. Your photo never showed that. Now it makes sense how they work! Guess you guys don't have electric down there! Its too hot there...you just put the warmer plate in the sun and let that warm it up! :)
The ones I sent the Australians were electric food warmers if I recall. I also believe the ones they had were from the 60's
