Title: Silicon bands for trussing
Post by: Texmech on April 14, 2015, 04:21:32 AM
I have tried a couple of times to truss a chicken for the rotisserie, but make a mess of it and just do a regular smoke at grill level. So I just ordered some of these silicon bands for next time. Anyone ever use these things?

Yeah I have the ones listed above, they work really well.

I've only done them indirect but I think they would be ok with direct heat if it wasn't too hot.

Most of my grilling is indirect so this should work well.
