Title: First Real Spring Cook - Pork Chops
Post by: MrHoss on April 12, 2015, 04:11:05 PM
It was gorgeous out this afternoon. So nice I had shorts on for the first time. Got some pork chops, sweet potatoes and makings for a mustard sauce. The sun was out, the birds kanoodling and the neighborhood abuzz so I got one of my prettiest Kettles out:

Had the sweet potatoes going for 45 minutes or so before firing another chimney of coals to do the chops:

Served with a mustard sauce made with butter, cream, white wine, tarragon, salt, pepper and Dijon mustard:

Really looking forward to some nice weather to hang out with my Kettles. Ought to be a beauty summer...and I don't have to think about Winter for some time.
