Title: Mini Griddle Vacation Meals
Post by: BBcue-Z on March 25, 2015, 02:56:28 PM
In anticipation of getting my new kettle griddle, I was reviewing some pictures of previous griddle meals and came across these pictures of meals I made during a past trip.

I took my mini griddle setup on a short trip a while back and did few cooks on it. It was easy transport and setup and it fed us well :)

Cooked Flat Iron steaks on the flat top :)

Used the grill presses to create even crust on the steaks

Nice sear

And veggies in Teriyaki sauce

And Teriyaki glazed Salmon

Ham, eggs and Hash browns breakfast

I felt a little guilty in the beginning about not taking a Grill on the trip, but after seeing how easy and convenient this setup could be, I was convinced that I made the right decision :)

This would be my deer-in-the-headlights look right about now.

That's really incredible. Are you looking to adopt a grown man? I'm housebroken (mostly.)

I like it all but the potatoes you cut lengthwise caught my eye. Guessing that could be done on a grill as well.

I swear you could give Hadi a match and a metal plate and he'd still whip up an amazing spread of food. He's like MacGyver and Gordon Ramsay all in one ;)

Nice job Z!

Thanks addicted-to-smoke,
We camp quite often and we always welcome BBQ fans into our group. So yes, will definitely adopt you :)
The potatoes can easily be done on the grill. I usually bake them first, split them, brush them with butter and sprinkle some seasoning and then place them on the grill.

Thanks Austin87, I just got the kettle griddle :)

Thanks Matt :)
I enjoy rigging up things as much as cooking ;D
