Pulling the trigger in a little bit. Still not sure what size I am going with. Right now I am leaning towards the 22. I just can't make my mind up.
Either way, I can't wait to get it.

Buying online?
If money is not a factor the 22" is a beautiful rig! but the 18.5" is extremely capable and the meat will taste just as good ;)

Got $300 in credit for target. Would love to purchase through this site so WKC gets a little something. Also saving 5% using my target card.

get the 22
i don't think the club can make any money from Target, but if you buy from this link -> http://www.target.com it might do something for us :)
Either way, I appreciate you thinking about it :)
Also - definitely get the 22.
18's are great for butts and chickens, but rolling ribs and cutting ribs in half sucks ;)
I am getting the 22. Oh man I can't wait for my first cook.
By the way Troy, that salt from the secret Santa is amazing.

You will love the 22!! Congrats!!
And that salt is incredible, really glad you're enjoying it.
Congratulations! They look even neater with a sweet Zavod handle! One of these days I'll pull the trigger on a WSM.
I love my 22 WSM......call her Bertha.
Definitely getting some wood handles. I would like to find some nice wood and send it out to him.

glad you picked the 22. I bought the 18 "knowing" I'd never need more. but darn it, having more space would make many things easier....wouldn't have to roll or cut ribs, brisket packers fit well. don't get me wrong, I love my 18wsm, but I wish it was bigger. given my drusthers, I'd have sprung for the 22wsm.
That was my fear, I am sure an 18 would serve me just fine, but was worried that one day I would need the extra space.
Any tips or tricks for it? What method do you use to light it? Any mods?

I'm love with my 22, you know, better to have the room and not need it, then need the room and not have it.
As far tricks and mods, I like the way they work right out of the box.
I use the minion method to light mine. Fill the charcoal ring with coals and wood chunks and spread a little less than half a chimney of lit coals on top. Put your rig together, keep all the vents open. About 50 degrees from your target temp, shut down two of the three vents and dial it in with the one vent. Pretty easy machine to get the hang of, a couple time and you'll be a pro!
Good luck, and post some pics!
Thanks. I am happy that I don't have to notch the top for the thermometer since it has the grommet on the side for one.

It's here. Can't wait to use it. Going to be a few days. Got some long hours at work coming. Hopefully I can season it this weekend and run it with some food next week.
