I wouldnt mind converting a grill to the new height. I think this should be do-able.
Make sure you get the triangle too.
New wheels also. They are a different size
I'm interested in that warning rack it has.
That is why I am asking about a KIT. Like the kind you used to be able to get for the OTS.

I was looking to do the same thing but have not been able to find anything. The master touch has spring tabs on the legs now, so not sure if it wise to drill holes in the leg sockets or just leave them pressed in.
Keep us posted if you come across anything
I plan to press them in as they look to be the same diameter.
Sorry, the kit I bought from weber contained 3 legs and the ash pan clips. I didn't realize there was a total bottom rebuild kit.
@Hofy did you figure out the answer to your question and have you tried to make an OTG taller?
I don't know the number, if it doesn't show up here I will get it for you soon. I don't have access to it for a little bit.
From my experiences, i've bought leg kits for 18's and 22's they do sell them minus the wheels. I've had to buy those separate.
Did we even find the number for these parts?
I was going to do this, but met resistance from Weber Customer Service. It's a modification of a grill and they weren't interested. They support the models like they come. I would have thought it would have been a great idea considering the number of kettles out there. Maybe better luck ordering parts as replacements for a Master Touch, but I bet you will find its cheaper to buy one if you sell the parts you don't want.

Correct! Weber CS will only sell you parts for kettles you already have. There are ways to get around this, but easier just buying used MT. That is what I did to build one and only North American Copper MT. Currently, Weber Germany is the only one offering Copper MT as a 2016 winter special.
@haeffb had offered to pick up a MT for me that was on clearance at Bal-Mart for $99 earlier this year... I kind of regret not taking him up on it... would be nice to have the taller grill, for sure. Maybe next year........
Here are the part numbers for the MT pieces:

Thanks @sixzerofour , I have a master touch lid and bowl and I need the legs. One more question, does the new master touch have the bigger lid bale? Or is it too far open and prone to fall over on a stand alone grill? Do they just have the older style bale?
Sent from my Moto Z force Droid
They have the new bale. The lid sits vertical.
@zavod44 , I have one of the newer style MTs, and it
does not have the new lid bale.
Oh good I have a bale in the garage that will work....
