I couldn't hold out any longer. My local Home Depot had a MasterTouch in stock and it just looked too pretty to pass up. Just put it together today. Looking forward to the first cook.
It's about as tall as my 26"...

Gonna have to thin out the herd a bit when the weather turns nice. I know this isn't going to make sense to most of you, but I've got too many kettles!
Yeha
Another Masters touch
I love mine, been using it 3 weeks now.
You are going love that thing. Those baskets make grilling a breeze
Post up some pics once you get that thing outside
Will definitely post more pics. I'm actually a little conflicted. I normally like to add Brian's wood handles to my kettles but the original black handles look so freakin' awesome, I think I'm going to keep it original. Plus it'll be nice to have the hooks for utensils.
Yeah, those things do look pretty race car....... 8)
The black handles just add to that !!!!
I was thinking of getting a set of wooden, but do is he making a set for the top with the heat shield? I would save the others for when it got older
I love the height of the thing over the old ones. I am over 6 foot
Plus the inner rack is really handy when doing a cook
I bought an extra set of baskets and made a custom basket for long cooks, got a thread on it around here

what sold me was the rack for holding the hood, I saw that and bought it, I was going to get a gold
I picked up one 2 weeks ago. Good stuff

I have to admit, the black handles do look nice with the black M/T. I prefer wood handles all day long.
You want to go wood? .... With the newer kettles, I believe the tabs are no longer there on the metal strapping.
I encountered that with my AA blue OTG. I did THIS (http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/handles-was-not-aware-of-this/msg102732/#msg102732) to help remedy the possibility of the outer part "helicoptering".
I think that getting double-rivet handles from
@zavod44 would help solve this problem, and give the newer kettles a "classic" look. JMHO
It might involve the use of some power tools. Something to consider. :)

Sweet new rig Mitch! I went through the exact same dilemma - the black handles just seem to suit the sleek modern look of the new MT's... Anything else gets a wooden one for sure :)
Congrats on the new addition to the fam!
Get some handles made from Ebony perhaps? Either way killer looking Kettle. I am gonna be all over the warming rack when I get one.
Brilliant Mac, love it. If anyone needs this mod done I can do it, just let me know when you order them. I can always make them from ebony like Hoss said. It just coats a little more. Again let me know. Maybe I can start offering a kit for the new style handles do they won't spin on the new grills. If anyone is interested let me know and I can work it out.....

@mcgolden That Master Touch is BADASS!!
@zavod44 tell us more of the nonspin kit. :D
Damn fine looking grill.
that is one purdy grill, I have not had the heart to use mine yet, and I agree those black handles are pretty sweet.
That is great! Have not seen one in person yet.
Beautiful grill there, congratulations!
