Title: Reverse seared wagyu scotch fillet on the platinum

Bit of fun on the Weber Platinum 18" the other night.

No pics of outside on the grill.. it was raining! But setup the kettle for indirect and some hickory for smoke. :)

Out for a rest. (cook time about an hour)

Beautiful plating and delicious looking beef.  I am going to have to try that Wagyu some day.  I like the fact that it is pre-marinated  :) :

"Wagyu bred in Western Australia's Margaret River (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_River_(wine_region))  region often have red wine added to their feed as well"

Those Aussies know how to do it right....

What an excellent plate up! Great job edgy, that looks like it came straight from a magazine 8)

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I wouldn't mind being one of them aforementioned Wagyu cattle... Margaret River is an amazing wine region! World class Cabernet & Chardonnay there! :)
