:)
Ahh, the elusive "Meat and Tires" edition. That thing will smoke ANYTHING.
Weber was sure thinking outside the box with a BBQ you could not only cook on, but also drag race with while on the way to the office. Mostly high-profile celebrities and athletes bought them but sadly the majority of them ended up totalled or wrapped around lamp poles.
Original Specifications:
1981 Supercharged 22.5" (This model also seems to have the optional Nitrous Injection)
363 Sq in. Chromed out cooking surface with electronic butterfly valve style hinged grate
Tri-port hot-dog expulsion system
Dual use fuel / condiment tank with internal baffles
Full SS Hardware upgrade.
Reinforced triangle to handle all the extra torque
Extra-wide 2.5" slicks
It's a beast.
You've found yourself a real gem Stu!... I'd consider contacting Weber about it ASAP.
;) ;D ;)
Edit: Tough crowd! Figured my late night/early morning delirious rambling would at least amuse some with my stupidity... Guess not :)
Yeah, I like having the nitrous option if you just want a fast sear.
Crispy on the outside and still Moo'ing in the middle :)
