I asked of this was a gas assist. He said his grill can cook in propane or charcoal.

He's doing it wrong!
I think I'd be worried cooking anything on that performer
I guess the seller doesn't understand the term gas assist

Go get this one :)

A new grate $20.00, a new ignitor $15.00, a can or two of spray paint, some elbow grease and you will have a nice grill for about $100.00 or less.

If i were you i would definitley go look at this - never hurts to look! More than likely its just missing the two frame bolts which are near the left legs but sortof behind the weber logo panel. If thats all it needs this is a great deal... Just make sure the kettle is sound obviously. Good luck!

if I didn't just book a $1500 trip to NYC, i'd be allll over that red SS performer.

the work involved is easy, and I'm unhandy.
