Looks like they are shipping this bundle now. Would be great on the old JJ, SJP or other 18.5 kettles. This is exactly why I would love an 18.5 platinum on a cart!

I really like the CB stuff.
The frame from an old, de-commissioned gasser would make a nice foundation for a 18.5 Performer.
I've some some nice work tables made from these and it sure would be cool to see an OEM-looking 18.5 Performer made from one.
Working on just that. I have the frame and a spare 18.5 WSM bowl. Hope to make progress on it after my move in a couple weeks. I'll record the entire process.

Thanks for posting this. I had a conversation with someone at CB awhile back about this. If I'm remembering correctly, we confirmed that they will not fit the older style JJ due to the size difference.
Sorry, just want someone to know before they order one for that purpose.
Well crap! But thanks for the heads up. Did they say it would fit the 18.5 WSM? That's really what I've been waiting for.
